The people behind the platform

Research with a reason.

FoamForge is materials research software for subsea buoyancy development. We are building a workflow to help manufacturers compare formulation changes, organize the evidence and choose what to manufacture and test next.

The foundation combines a literature database of 1,781 extracted records from 130 papers, micromechanics tools, hierarchical Gaussian-process models and numerical verification research. Stored records include primary, secondary and model-derived entries; they are not all independent measurements or manually audited observations.

The separate expert-compilation workbook retains 2,792 property entries after 291 repeated entries were removed on 27 September 2026. It can overlap the literature database, so these counts should not be added. The October model uses a separately frozen, rate-aware cohort with reviewed source identities; it is not a fit to every workbook entry. See the corrected benchmark.

FoamGPT, FoamSim-Agent and FoamWorks are the research projects behind that foundation. Their benchmarks measure specific research tasks. Customer value, hydrostatic performance and the effectiveness of experiment selection still require separate validation.

Our immediate focus is one manufacturer’s real formulation or supplier-change decision. A useful product must represent their ingredients and process, disclose its limits and improve a measurable decision.

Research code and reports are available to collaborators and reviewers on request. Use of academic and customer data depends on the applicable permissions. The prototype does not establish a university commercial endorsement.
